Through our classes, support services and San Francisco’s CityBuild Academy, we’ve helped over a thousand individuals realize these goals.
Youth
Are you a high-schooler wanting to grow your leadership skills? Finding the city and all of its opportunities and challenges a bit overwhelming? For over 18 years, Families in Transition (FIT) has provided academic and social support for Asian immigrant youths and their families, equipping them with skills and know-how to survive and thrive in the US with a sense of well-being and confidence.
Financial Literacy
Looking to build a strong foundation for managing your finances? Want to understand how credit works and improve your financial health? Hoping to gain the skills to confidently manage your money and plan for a secure future? Through our Forget Me Not Program (FMNP), we offer 30 hours of intensive financial literacy education and personalized case management to help you reach these goals.
Culinary
Aspiring to become a professional chef? Have dreams of opening a new restaurant? Wanting to expand your repertoire for an existing catering business or mobile pop-up? CCSC has been training entrepreneurs in the culinary arts for nearly 40 years, particularly for recent immigrants and others seeking the skills, certification, and liveable wage jobs in the foodservice industry for a lifetime.
Summer Camp
Looking for an exciting and enriching summer experience for your child? Want them to develop English skills, build confidence, and explore new interests with friends their age? Our summer camp, held from early June through early August, provides engaging English curriculum, hands-on activities, field trips, and creative projects—all led by local teen mentors who make learning relatable and fun.
