新侨高中 Newcomer High School

    我喜欢这个課業輔導班的老师。他们的人很好﹐非常用心教導我們。我在这裡很开心﹐可以很用心学习﹐不懂可以问，我喜欢这个学校。輔導我們的老師全都是中国人，好沟通。我看到许多同學都在用心学习，我都感动。虽然，我每天都要做不同的作业，但我总能得到輔導老師的帮助。

    I like the after-school program. The tutors are nice. They put in a lot of energy to help me. The students in this program are very nice. They love to help each other. I feel very happy coming here. I learn a lot in this class. The good thing in this program is that all students are Chinese， so that we have no problems communicating with each other. I have a lot of school work， but I can always get help by coming here.

米慎高中 Mission High School

    博愛的輔導員到米慎高中來辅导我们学习。自修課時他们对我们进行作业辅导。他们细心地教导我们分析问题。他们和我们一起分享大学的资料。当我们在自修課进行讨论时，他们会热心加入讨论，帮助我们得出更好的结论。在一系列的講座中，他们向我们提供了技术性的帮助，大量的经验交流，促使我们取得完满的获益良多。他们还在放学后在图书馆為我們课后补习。他们无私的付出，使我们能在学习上取得更好成绩。

    The tutors from CCSC come to Mission High School to help us to do our school work. During advisory periods， they carefully help us to analyze problems. Besides， they offer us information about the college application process. During the discussion sessions， they actively facilitate us to make good conclusions upon subjects that we discuss. Before we present， they give helpful advice and provide resourceful experiences to us. As a result， we learn a lot because of their help.
Furthermore，they also offer after school tutoring. Their time and effort definitely facilitates our academic success.

    我參加博愛課後補習班是因為在這裡我可以認識新朋友和參加義工活動。我認為參加義工活動不但可以回饋社會，而且我可以在活動當中學到課堂上學不到的東西。這一年，我們在博愛環保專員Ivy和課業輔導老師Katy的指導下，教導三藩市居民關於環保育的重要性及如何去回收可利用的資源。希望未來，我們可以有更多的機會參加這樣有意義的活動。

    The main reason why I joined FIT was to make new friends and to participate in their volunteer activities.  I think it is important to help others so whenever FIT offers us a chance to earn volunteer hours， I jump at the chance.  I not only help others but I learn a lot at these events.  This year， we have been working with CCSC’s Respect Project to help educate San Francisco’s Chinese population about the environment and the importance of recycling and composting properly.  Ivy Wan, the Program Director of Respect Project， and our FIT coordinator Katy prepared us by teaching us about the environment and all the ways we can improve it.  After we learned all the material， we were ready to start outreaching. I have helped out by working the booths at street fairs， putting posters up and distributing compost pails to the public. I truly enjoy doing this type of work and hope that there are more activities like this in the future.
